Wouldn't it be so adorable above a crib in a modern-ish baby room.  If you could find a way to secure it firmly to the wall it could entertain them from 6am to 7 and buy you an extra hour of sleep!  You could probably paint those beads different colors as well if you have a specific color scheme.  Fun, Fun, Fun!
