Wardrobe on my mind

Dear Ashely,

LOVED talking with you last night! And I'm glad to have not only a new commitment to the blog but also a creative way to keep in touch!

So we talked about these boots...

and how I hemmed and hawed over whether or not to purchase...(kinda $$$ - about $100 more than anything article of clothing I've ever purchase)

Ultimately I did not buy. Went on sale, immediately sold out.

While searching for the image to put on here I found this! For sale. Size 11. WHAT?!

now I'm back to hemming and hawing!!

My mom once gave me advice about shopping. She says if I'm not sure about something leave it. Go to another store. Go home. IF I still am thinking about that item, I should strongly consider it. Since I missed out on that purchase (which even though I never could click the "buy" button I was devastated when they were gone) I have thought more about my spending habits - quantity over quality, buying those few things that I really love, something I think you believe right?

Which brings me to these shorts.



Knee length gems to get me through the humid summer. What do you think?

And I thought I'd share this dress I bought for my sister for her birthday. She's a maxi dress queen and I thought the print was very Anthro (but from etsy!)

Hope she doesn't read this blog before her birthday. .....who am I kidding, of course she won't!
